The Auto Industry is Shrouded in Heavy Smog and Facing More Challenges
Since last winter, the sun has not been shining quite as much as before in the most areas of China. On the 30th January, The Ministry of Environmental Protection announced the results of their remote sensing satellite monitoring. It outlined that dense smog had lingered throughout central and eastern China; more than 1.4 million square kilometers of territory had been blanketed by fog and haze. Such mass pollution has prompted public concern over the auto industry, which has been largely blamed as the origin of the pollution.
