Keeping an eye on a changing vehicle market
 

The after effects of the oil crisis has caused consumers to adjust their behavior in using cars
in a major way. This metamorphosis is about to change Thailand’s vehicle market in one of
the most significant ways imaginable.

If automakers cannot adjust accordingly, then the results for the respective brands will be catastrophic.

 

Matters are compounded with the presence of an amateurish government, which has displayed its in ability to handle problems in addition to its haphazard policies in rectifying a pending energy crisis. Too frequent has the government shown signs of losing its way in dealing with problems, thus causing dizzying headaches to both the consumer and automakers.

The awareness of automakers has been pushed to its limits when it comes to facing with the rapid changes of the market, and contingency pans have been drawn up
to accommodate such changes.
