Among main automobile categories, passenger car sales was 1,213,100 units, higher than the previous 4.53%, and up 26.52 percent year on year; the sales of com¬mercial vehicle was up to 354,000 units, higher than the previous 54.37 percent, and up 18.08 percent year on year. From January to Feb¬ruary, Chinese auto sales exceeded 2,954,300 units, a decrease of 5.96 percent from a year earlier. Pas¬senger car sales decrease 4.37 percent year on year to about 2,373,700 units; commercial vehicle sales exceeded 580,600 units, a decrease of 11.91 percent from a year earlier.   April 2012
